If you are a nanny or caregiver interested in applying for one of our jobs we kindly ask you to review the requirements that we are looking for. Please remember that if you are here on the Live In Caregivers Program, once a new employer is found a new work permit must be requested. The work permit that you have is non-transferrable, you will not be able to work with your new employer untill a new work permit has been issued.
Applicant requirements:
You are 18 years or older, and in some Provinces you have to be 19 years or more.
A completed and positive RCMP/Police Criminal Record Check has to have been done within a 6 month time frame from you application
You are or have to have been legally allowed to work in Canada
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience either international or Canadian
We have to be able to contact two work related references who can attest to your abilities
If you have your licence we will need a provincial driving record
A legitimate certificate of complete Emergency First Aid/CPR (If you do not have this, please be prepared to take a first aid/CPR training course within 3 months of employment)
